The 130th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin's birth will be widely celebrated in 2019 and violinist Philippe Quint has provided his own intriguing tribute, courtesy of Warner Classics. 'Chaplin's Smile' is Quint's new album exploring the musical legacy of Charlie Chaplin, who as well as being an extraordinary comedian, actor, producer and director, was also a gifted composer. 

The album features brand new arrangements of various Chaplin compositions for violin and piano, and Quint is joined on the album by fellow violinist Joshua Bell and pianist Marta Aznavoorian. Here is a brief look behind the scenes of the recording:
