Informationen	The course is intended for violinists of all ages who wish to deepen their technical and musical principles in the study of the violin. Particularly, the masterclass is suitable for those who wish to prepare for auditions, competitions or exams. In the normal case, the participant will receive a lesson per day (with pianist) and the opportunity to perform in a final public concert. The main subject of the course will be the solistic and chamber-music repertoire for violin, but it will be also possible to work on the orchestral excerpts, with eventually advices for the position as concertmaster, especially for german speaking countries. Foligno is ideally located for discovering the charming towns of Umbria (Assisi, Spello, Perugia, Spoleto...), most of which can be reached within 30 minutes. Participation fee: 160 Euro Membership fee: 160 Euro Since almost 20 years Lorenzo Lucca has been holding the position of First Concertmaster of the Hofer Symphoniker (Bavaria); since 2015, he has been teaching at the University of Music "Franz Liszt" Weimar; he regularly gives masterclasses in Italy, Germany and Spain.
