First soloist co-leader cello
The laureate who takes up the position is offered a fixed-term contract of maximum 12 months. After this time and in case of positive evaluation a renewal of the contract (limited or unlimited) can be proposed.
The instrument played during the auditions should be the same as the one played with the orchestra.
Sufficient knowledge (both active and passive) of English is required in order to be able to function properly in the position applied for. Knowledge or willingness to acquire basic understanding of French or Dutch.
The Belgian National Orchestra does not reimburse any expenses - neither travel costs nor hotel expenses.
