Open vacancy – Assosiate Concertmaster
Audition date Saturday 20st March 2021 at 1 p.m.
Place Joensuu Conservatory Concert Hall, Rantakatu 31, JOENSUU

Set of works
1. W.A. Mozart: Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major or No. 4 in D Major or No. 5 in A Major, 1st and 2nd movement with cadenza
2. First movement with cadenza from Violin concertos by Beethoven, Brahms, Sibelius, Nielsen or Tchaikovsky
3. Orchestral and chamber music excerpts - a link to a PDF-file will be included in your personal invitation for audition. Chamber music exerpts will be played with the orchestra musicians.

In the event of a current member of Joensuu City Orchestra being selected, then their position can be offered in place, based on this audition. Our workplaces are non-smoking.

Starting date of employment September 6th 2021 or as agreed. Six (6) months trial period.

To apply: send the completed application form together with a short CV (max 2 pages, .doc or .pdf format) that contains the most appropriate details of your education and qualifications, and professional work experience as a musician and filled application form.

Remember to say whether or not you wish to use our pianist. Use of own accompanist by your own expenses is also allowed.
