informations	For this position we are searching for a musician that is not only a great artist but who wants to take over personnel responsibility for the group of the first violins and who commits himself to new formats of an orchestra in music theatre, symphony concerts and music education. At big productions you would sit on the second or third chair, in music theatre and smaller productions also on the first chair. Philharmonic Orchestra Erfurt is a part of Theatre Erfurt and plays in one of the youngest and modernst opera houses of Germany and Europe. Erfurt is the capital of the German state Thuringia and Theatre Erfurt offers a wide range of music theatre, symphony concerts and the internationally known DomStufen-Festspiele. Part of the orchestra is an orchestra academy with sixteen students. Big symphony concerts and opera productions take place in cooperation with Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha-Eisenach.
