Summer internship 2025: 2 to 30 August 2025
- Participation in large and small ensemble projects of the Symphony Orchestra Biel Solothurn TOBS! in the cities and regions of Biel and Solothurn
- Register rehearsals and coaching by mentors from the orchestra

Every year, the Symphony Orchestra Biel Solothurn TOBS! organises summer and seasonal internships for young musicians in collaboration with the SON Foundation. This gives them the opportunity to rehearse and play concerts with members of the symphony orchestra for a certain period of time. Applicants are selected at an audition in spring. Applications are possible for both the summer and seasonal internships. A completed summer internship is generally a prerequisite for the seasonal internship. The jury decides on exceptions.

Conditions
- Studying at a Swiss music academy
- Max. 30 years old (born in 1995)
- Foreign nationals require a B permit for the duration of the internship.
- At the time of application, written confirmation of admission to the programme must be presented from the university.
- Seasonal internships are generally only possible after completing a summer internship (the jury decides on exceptions)
- As a rule, only one internship may be completed per student
