The call for applications is primarily aimed at young musicians who have already completed the degree programme (Bachelor's degree programme) or are at the end of their studies. The Orchestra Academy of the Staatskapelle Halle enables practical training to prepare for the start of a career by participating in rehearsals and various concert formats of the Staatskapelle Halle and integration into the music theatre repertoire of the Halle Opera etc. (approx. 12 assignments per month) Participation in academy concerts in which musicians from the Staatskapelle perform together with the scholarship holders in the chamber orchestra, own chamber music formats, concerts in charitable organisations, regular coaching by mentors from the orchestra and monthly training monthly training auditions round off the training programme. A scholarship of €720 per month is paid out to help with living expenses.
