We are looking for a musician who distinguishes themselves through excellent mastery of their instrument, strong commitment, and reliability. We offer our musicians a working environment characterized by mutual respect and a professional working atmosphere. We give the orchestra's prominent musicians the opportunity for solo performances and promote the further development of each individual within our possibilities. The Aachen Symphony Orchestra performs 8 symphony projects as a concert orchestra and approximately 70 performances per season as an opera orchestra at the Theater Aachen. In addition, through its active additional concert activities in a wide variety of concert series, from chamber music to large symphonic works from all eras, the orchestra is the most important and largest provider of classical music in the Aachen region. In addition, our orchestra is characterized by its profiling in the field of historical performance practice as part of an excellence project. Our musicians have the opportunity to learn from experts, and a collection of historical instruments has been acquired, which are available to orchestra members. Remuneration is according to TVK B. Travel and accommodation costs cannot be reimbursed.
