Sono nato a Liverpool nel 1993, ma è tra le foreste della Lapponia, dove ho vissuto con la mia famiglia per un anno, che ho scoperto la bellezza del legno e il piacere di lavorarlo. Tornato in Italia ho frequentato L’istituto d’Arte “Gaetano Chierici” di Reggio Emilia dove mi sono diplomato Maestro d’Arte e due anni dopo ho conseguito la maturità. Lo studio della chitarra classica e l’interesse sempre più vivo nel progettare e costruire oggetti in legno, mi hanno spinto ad iscrivermi alla Scuola di Liuteria “Bottega di Parma”, del Maestro Desiderio Quercetani.

Sotto la sua esperta guida ho costruito, secondo i principi classici della tradizione liutaia italiana, i miei primi strumenti ad arco, affiancando a questa attività il restauro e la riparazione di strumenti antichi e moderni. Contemporaneamente mi sono formato a Reggio Emilia con il Maestro Giovanni Cavazzoli nella costruzione, manutenzione e riparazione dell’archetto. -
I was born in Liverpool in 1993, but it was in the forests of Lapland, where I lived with my family for a year, that I discovered the beauty of wood and the pleasure of working with it. Back in Italy, I attended the ‘Gaetano Chierici’ Art Institute in Reggio Emilia where I graduated as a Master of Art and two years later took my high school diploma. The study of the classical guitar and my ever-increasing interest in designing and building wooden objects prompted me to enrol at the ‘Bottega di Parma’ School of Violinmaking, of Maestro Desiderio Quercetani.

Under his expert guidance, I built my first stringed instruments according to the classical principles of the Italian violin-making tradition, adding to this activity the restoration and repair of antique and modern instruments. At the same time, I trained in Reggio Emilia with Maestro Giovanni Cavazzoli in the construction, maintenance and repair of bows.
