Aspiring violinists of all nationalities, ages 16–30, who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or legally residing in the United States are invited to apply for the 2026 Wieniawski Violin Competition, organized by the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York City.
The Competition will take place on November 7–8, 2026, at the Kosciuszko Foundation House, located at 15 East 65th Street in New York City.
More than $20,000 in monetary prizes will be awarded, along with performance opportunities and special awards.
The Competition Jury features distinguished musicians: Philip Setzer, Adrian Sylveen, Joanna Kurkowicz, and Eugene Drucker.
This event continues the Foundation’s long-standing tradition of supporting young musicians by fostering their artistic development, promoting Poland’s rich musical heritage through the study and performance of works by Polish composers, and honoring the legacy of Henryk Wieniawski—one of Poland’s greatest violin virtuosos and Romantic-era composers.
Application deadline: August 16, 2026
