The 11th International Chamber Music Competition "Franz Schubert and Modern Music" (FS&MM) will take place from July 20 - 24, 2022 in Graz in the categories Duo for Voice and Piano (Lied) and Trio for Piano, Violin and Violoncello (Piano Trio).
Due to the pandemic and the new developments, it is unfortunately impossible for us to hold the competition as planned in February 2022 and we need to go ahead with plan B. This means that in there will be a video round from February 5 to 14, 2022, followed by a semi-finale and finale in summer from July 20 – 24, 2022 on-site in Graz.
Until February 5, 2022: video submission by all invited ensembles
February 6 - 11, 2022: Jury evaluation phase and decision meeting
February 14, 2022: Announcement of semi-finalists
