informations	Organized by the "Musique et Partage en Couserans" association, this 11th edition of the Marie Cantagrill International Violin Competition will take place in an iconic place in Ariège, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Ariège Pyrenees. The rehearsals with the competition pianists (or the candidates' pianists) will take place from July 03 to 05 and the performances from July 06 to 09. Candidates of all nationalities can apply in 5 categories, from Beginner to Excellence. The performances, before a jury of recognized music professionals, will be public. An exhibition-meeting with violin and bow makers will be held in the town of the Mas-d'Azil, in parallel to the week of the competition.
