The idea of this type of competition was introduced in 1990 by Professor Tadeusz Wroński, an outstanding Polish virtuoso and violin pedagogue,
Rector and Doctor Honoris Causa of the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, for many years Professor at Indiana Jacobs
University School of Music in Bloomington, USA.
The Tadeusz Wroński International Violin Solo Competitions are cyclical events, held every five years, and so far are the only solo competitions in the world with this format.
Competition auditions will be held in the concert hall of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
The 7th Competition organised by the SKRZYPCE Foundation is a three-stage event, open to violinists of all nationalities and born after 22 September 1990.
The statutory prize pool is approximately PLN 275,000. ca. EUR 65,000.
The final distribution of prizes and non-statutory prizes in cash, in kind, as well as possible concert engagements, will be made by an international jury of outstanding violin virtuosos and pedagogues.

Międzynarodowe Konkursy im. Tadeusza Wrońskiego na Skrzypce Solo są imprezami cyklicznymi, odbywają się co pięć lat i jak dotąd to jedyne w tej formule konkursy solowe na świecie.
Przesłuchania konkursowe odbywają się będą w sali koncertowej Uniwersytetu Muzycznego Fr. Chopina w Warszawie.
VII Konkurs organizowany przez Fundację SKRZYPCE jest imprezą trzyetapową, otwartą dla skrzypków wszystkich nacji i urodzonych po 22 września 1990 r.
Pula nagród regulaminowych to ok. 275 tys. zł. ca.65 tys Euro.
Ostatecznego podziału nagród oraz nagród pozaregulaminowych w formie pieniężnej, rzeczowej, jak również ewentualnych angaży koncertowych dokona międzynarodowe Jury złożone z wybitnych wirtuozów i pedagogów skrzypcowych. |
