Do you want to play The Rite of Spring this June? Applications are open for the 2018 PRISMA Festival. The Pacific Region International Summer Music Academy provides two weeks of world-class music education on the beautiful West Coast of Canada, June 11-23.
The 2018 repertoire includes:
Stravinsky – The Rite of Spring
Respighi – Fountains of Rome
Elgar – In the South (Alassio)
R. Strauss – Josephs Legende
Berlioz – Harold in Italy (soloist Máté Szücs, principal viola Berlin Philharmonic)
Participants receive dedicated support daily from Guest Artists -- musicians from renowned orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, La Phil, Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
