Bergen National Opera welcomes young singers, orchestra musicians, conductors and repetiteurs to apply for our summer academy Opera by the Fjord, which takes place 24th June - 1st July 2023.
The academy focuses on practical experience on stage, with training, input and inspiration by our team of coaches, all professionals from the world of opera and symphony.
This year's grand academy finale is a concert with Act 4 from La bohème (Puccini) and a reduced version of Die Fledermaus (Strauss II), directed by Ivar Tindberg.
