Apply for one of the 28 exclusive places at Hvide Sande Masterclass for violinists, violists, cellists, 1 bassist, pianists and ensembles.
You can apply as a soloist and/or as a chamber music ensemble.
Application deadline: April 15, 2026.
As a participant, you will receive:
– Daily solo and/or chamber music lessons
– Solo participants also take part in a side-by-side chamber music group
– Accompaniment lessons
– Private room in a luxury summer house by the fjord
– Three daily meals and refreshments (cake, coffee and fruit)
– Opportunity to perform at several concerts
– Professional recordings and photos from selected concerts
– Beautiful nature experiences and a bicycle provided
– String players receive a set of Larsen Strings
– A luthier will be present for small repairs, instrument loans and guidance
– Arrival September 12. Departure September 19
String Quartet of the Year:
If you are selected as this year’s quartet, your entire stay is free.
You will arrive on September 10, two days before the other participants, and perform at the four opening concerts on September 10–11 and at the crossover concert on September 20. You will receive hotel accommodation, meals, extra visibility as an ensemble and a unique opportunity to work intensively under the guidance of the Hvide Sande Masterclass faculty.
Price: €900 for the whole event.
