informaciones	The DAVOS FESTIVAL Academy invites 20 young musicians to take an active part in the DAVOS FESTIVAL – young artists in concert to further their professional, individual advanced training. Selected participants spend every day for two weeks in rehearsals, workshops and lectures, perfecting their art under the guidance of tutors, conductors, soloists, and the Festival’s advanced Young Artists. Members of the Academy are given the opportunity to perform as part of both the DAVOS FESTIVAL Camerata and various chamber music groups. Under the tuition of Holly Hyun Choe, the DAVOS FESTIVAL Camerata will develop a diverse repertoire: Nathan Stornetta (*1985), «Légendes» for percussion and strings Caroline Charrière (1960–2018), «Le temps» for strings Grażyna Bacewicz (1909–1969), Concerto for strings Arnold Schönberg (1874–1951), «Verklärte Nacht» for strings Additional education and performance opportunities for Academy participants are also part of the programme. No charge is made for participating in the Academy. Participants are provided with accommodation and full board. Travel costs are met by the Academy according to the Festival’s guidelines.
