informaciones

The Musikkollegium Winterthur was founded in 1629 and has been a professional symphony orchestra since 1875.
With around 50 musicians, it is now one of the leading symphony orchestras in Switzerland.
A good 50 concert programmes per season in the Stadthaus Winterthur, as well as numerous chamber music events and opera and ballet performances in collaboration with the Winterthur Theatre and the Zurich Opera House demonstrate the orchestra's broad spectrum.
Classical and romantic music are the mainstays of the orchestra's extensive repertoire, which ranges from baroque to contemporary music.
Famous soloists and conductors such as Kit Armstrong, Isabelle Faust, Sol Gabetta, Reinhard Goebel, Teo Gheorghiu, Heinz Holliger, Andreas Ottensamer, Michael Sanderling and Sir András Schiff are regular guests of the Musikkollegium Winterthur.
Duration: Season 24/25, approx. 100 services (project agreement by arrangement)
Remuneration: CHF 100/service; advice and support from an experienced musician from the Musikkollegium Winterthur.
New: The Werner Reinhart Scholarship of the Musikkollegium Winterthur and the Lyra Foundation will be available from the 24/25 season.
Outstanding young musicians (up to the age of 25) can apply for an individual scholarship of CHF 10,000 as part of their orchestral internship at the MKW.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the strict requirements of the Migration Office, only applicants from Switzerland, the EU and EFTA or applicants from third countries who already have a long-term residence and work permit and/or are enrolled at a Swiss university can be considered.
This must be evident from the application documents.
