After the deliberation of the Jury, the list of people selected for the second stage will be published on the notice board of the place where the test will be carried out, which will be those who have been declared suitable. 2ND STAGE: The applicants must perform, at their choice and without a screen, one of the indicated concertos and orchestral excerpts according to the detailed list. a) First movement, with the corresponding cadenza, of one of the following concertos to be chosen by the applicant: - B. Delibes: Coppelia Ballet: Act III No. 7 “La Paix” (from measure 9 to 58) Tutti Viola - J. Brahms: Symphony No. 4 in E minor, op. 98: 4th mov. (from measure 41 to 80) - W. A. Mozart: Overture to The Magic Flute, KV. 620 (from measure 27 to 64) - W. A. Mozart: Symphony No. 35 in D major, KV. 385 “Haffner”: 4th mov. (from measure 134 to 181) - G. Rossini: Overture to The Thieving Magpie (from measure 63 to 151) - R. Strauss: Don Juan, TrV 293 (from measure 1 up to D) - P. I. (from the Allegro ma non tropo to 6 measures after C) c) Sight reading The Jury will deliberate again, qualifying the candidates as suitable or not suitable to pass to the third stage, publishing the corresponding list on the notice board of the place where the test will be carried out. 3RD STAGE: The applicants must perform, without a screen, any of the works and excerpts from the previous stages. The Jury reserves the right to request the interpretation of fragments at sight, as well as to carry out an interview with the applicants if deemed appropriate. This test will be graded by each member of the Jury from 0 to 10 points. The score will be the average of the scores assigned by the members of the Jury, and it is necessary to obtain a minimum of five points to pass it. Viola Interview |
