(member) On stage with the best! Apply now for the audition and become a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie! If the incomparable sound of a symphony orchestra, tours and concerts at home and abroad, stages like the Berliner Philharmonie, the Kölner Philharmonie, or the Elbphilharmonie are your thing, if you like to try new things and want to fulfill your musical ambitions with dedicated passion, then you've come to the right place. In the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the best students from German-speaking music academies come together in a sound body with the highest artistic standards. In addition to the great symphonic repertoire, contemporary music and historical performance practice are key focuses. Highly motivated and well-prepared, we go on tour 3-5 times a year with great soloists and conductors. With FREISPIEL, the orchestra has also been setting accents since 2008 with cross-genre, experimental event formats. The Junge Deutsche Philharmonie is organized in a grassroots democratic way: For more than 50 years, the members and their commitment have been the heart and head of the orchestra: each and every one is called upon to actively participate in program planning, board work and orchestra management. The passion for music and the experience of making music together is regularly passed on in self-planned music education projects. In addition, project days with a wide variety of topics such as musician health, dramaturgy or moderation for further qualification are an essential part of the work phases. Thus, the orchestra's educational claim - an extremely important link between studies and professional life - goes far beyond orchestral playing. The prerequisite for participation is that you are between 18 and 26 years old and studying at a German-speaking music academy. |
