BIMF is a unique, performance based, residential international chamber music and master class course for strings, wind, piano, voice, harp and harpsichord. I
t offers young, accomplished musicians, (age 18-32) the opportunity to perform main-stream and unusual repertoire in a number of concerts which are open to the public.
Individuals and ready formed groups attend.
Under 18's may attend if sleeping off campus.
With 60-70 students from 25 countries and 13 professors on site, BIMF is a wonderful meeting ground for international young musicians, both students and professionals.
It is a place where the musicians make friends and enduring connections, which carry on into professional life.
The professors are established performers and teachers in UK and European conservatories.
They give daily classes/lessons and coach chamber music.
Charterhouse is one of England's most prestigious private schools. A number of scholarships are available for each class.
Fee: £1150 tuition and full board.
