The aim of the Orchestra Academy of the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra is the systematic promotion of young professional orchestral musicians. The two-year training programme at the academy includes - weekly individual lessons with members of the orchestra - chamber music lessons and participation in chamber concerts - targeted audition preparation and audition simulations in front of an orchestra jury - Workshops, physio-coaching and mental training - Participation in concerts, opera and ballet performances Our academy students receive monthly financial support totalling € 1,150. Musicians up to the age of 26 are eligible (deadline: date of audition).
