The History of the Violin in 12 Minutes

Violinist Charles Yang takes us on a fun and entertaining journey (44 songs in 12 min) through some of the violin’s greatest moments in history.

Not only confined to classical violin, Mr. Yang’s improvisational crossover abilities as a violinist, vocalist, and guitarist have led him to performances with a variety of artists.

The venues include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Long Center, Highline Ballroom, David Rubinstein Atrium, Ars Nova, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Forbidden City in Beijing among others.
