Steve Staruch: Interview with Ray Show and Alan Snow

The annual St. Paul String Quartet Competition begins this weekend at Sundin Hall in St. Paul. The Junior Division will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, followed by the Senior Division at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20. This is the 19th edition of the event, which has served as a launching pad for many young professional quartets. Host Steve Staruch spoke about the event with Ray Show of the Artaria Quartet, which hosts the competition, and Alan Snow, the new associate concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra and gold medalist of the Junior Division in 2012.
