Students of all nationalities who are enrolled at music colleges in the German-speaking countries can apply for a place in the orchestra. There is no entitlement to specific positions.
If they win the audition, they are obliged to participate in one of the upcoming work phases of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie (autumn 10-21.9.23 or New Year 5-15.1.24).
The jury consists of members of the orchestra - advised by musicians from renowned German symphony orchestras and teachers from German-speaking music academies.
The audition rooms are open from 9:00 am. Please bring the piano sheet music for the two solo pieces.
