The Kammerakademie Potsdam founded its own orchestra academy, KAPcampus, in 2018.
The next 2-year training program starts on September 1st, 2026 for Violin, Viola and Cello.
The program includes participation in concerts, CD recordings and guest tours of the orchestra, as well as participation in master classes, chamber music and workshops on music education.
In addition to the remuneration for the orchestra projects, the academy participants receive a scholarship of €3,000 per year from a foundation.
As an entrepreneurial orchestra in independent sponsorship, the KAP has set itself the goal of combining the highest artistic excellence with social commitment. The orchestra academy would like to enable young up-and-coming musicians to commit themselves to these goals and also to take the initiative for their own concert and educational formats, in order to prepare themselves for the diverse requirements of professional life as a freelance musician. |
