5th Oskar Nedbal International Viola Competition is open to violists of all nationalities aged max. 30 years and is held between September 28 - October 1, 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic. Among financial prizes (totaling 110.000 CZK), laureates will receive a fine bow from Lubos Odlas, Viola case by GEWA, strings, rosins and Korfker Rest by Pirastro, paid concerts and other special prizes. 1st round will be completed via videorecording, 2nd and 3rd round will be live in Prague. Final will be with orchestra. Application (with the 1st round recording) deadline is June 30st, 2023.
