- What materials do I need to submit to apply for an audition?
To secure an audition, complete the application at the link below with a one-page resume by the application deadline, and mail your deposit to the address below. Please limit your resume to one page. Deposit with applicant's full name and applied position in memo line must be post-marked by application deadline. CLICK HERE TO APPLY.

- What information should I include on my resume?

- When will I receive further information?
A confirmation email will be sent upon the completion of your application including links to excerpt packets.
No later than one week after the application deadline, you will receive an email with your arrival time, audition time, and any other relevant information to your audition. ALL correspondence will be done via email.
- What if I need to cancel my audition?
Please contact us at personnel@boisephil.org if you need to cancel your audition.
Cancellation before the application deadline will result in your deposit being destroyed and securely disposed in lieu of being cashed.
Cancellation after the application deadline, will result in your deposit being cashed.
- When will I receive further information after I submit my application?

- I never received an excerpt packet upon application submission. What do I do?
Check your email for your application submission email to gain access to excerpt packets for your audition. If you can't find that email, send an email to personnel@boisephil.org.

When can I find out what excerpts will be on the preliminary round list?
You will receive the preliminary round audition list no later than your check-in time on your audition day. Excerpt selections for any additional rounds will be provided as soon as the committee provides those to the proctor.
- Where are auditions held?
Auditions are held at the Esther Simplot Performing Arts Academy located at 516 S 9th Street Boise, ID 83705. Enter the building from the north entrance along Myrtle Street. All other entrances will be locked.
- Where can I park during my audition?
A map of the facility will be provided for you via email before your audition date. Free parking indicated on the map is subject to availability. Street parking and a public parking garage are within walking distance with modest rates. Once you are done with your audition, do not leave your car in any of the parking areas indicated on the parking map, as you may receive a ticket.
- How early can I arrive for my audition?
You will be provided with this information via email a week after the application submission deadline. Please do not come before your assigned warm-up time.
- Will a private warm-up space be available?
Yes, you will be ushered to a private warm-up room once it is available.
- When can I find out what will be on the preliminary round repertoire list?
When you check-in for your audition you will be given the repertoire list for the preliminary round. Lists for any following rounds will be provided once the proctor has received them from the audition committee.
Absolutely! In addition, excerpt packets are available upon your arrival for your audition at check-in for your use.
- Will my audition be accompanied?
No, all rounds of the audition will be unaccompanied.
- May I ask questions during my audition?
You will meet the proctor outside of the audition room just before your audition. Try to address any questions you have before you enter the room for your audition. Once you are in the audition room, you may direct questions or concerns to the proctor by waving to them, who will then approach you and quietly address your question so the audition committee cannot hear you.
