2nd VIOLIN

Your application must be delivered by June 12th, 2024 to inspektor@mfo.cz and must contain:

• Name, surname, phone number and email address
• CV
• Information, if you need a piano accompanist

The audition consists of two rounds:
1st round:
: one of the following violin concertos by W. A. Mozart:
(1st movement to be performed up to beginning of reprise including cadence)

• No. 3 G Major K. 216
• No. 4 D Major K. 218
• No. 5 A Major K. 219

• selected orchestral excerpts.

2nd round:

• 1. movement with cadence from any concert from the Romantic period, eventually
  1. movement with cadence from concert of L. van Beethoven
• selected orchestral excerpts.

Audition will take place on June 18th, 2024 at Moravská filharmonie Olomouc, Horní náměstí 23, Olomouc, Czech Republic, Reduta hall

The exact schedule of the audition will be specified five days before the audition.

The selected candidates will be invited to the audition.
