The Philharmonia Orchestra is welcoming applications for the position of No. 2 Viola to join our fantastic string section. First round auditions will be held on Friday 11 March 2022. Second round auditions will be held on Saturday 12 March 2022.

First round auditions: candidates will need to prepare the first movement of either a Stamitz or Hoffmeister concerto & the first movement of a Bartok or Walton concerto, and orchestral excerpts (which will be provided upon offer of audition).
Second round auditions: candidates will need to perform the same concertos as the first round, along with orchestral excerpts and chamber music.
