Informationen	2nd concert master is required to lead the section when both principals are absent, or by prior agreement, and will mainly rotate between chairs 2 to 4 in the 1st violin section. All new employees at the SSO are subject to a mandatory 6-month trial period. Stavanger Symphony Orchestra does not cover costs of travel, accommodation or other expenses connected to the candidates’ participation in the main audition.
Pflichtstücke	Audition program Concertos: Mozart: Violin concerto 3, 4 or 5 (free choice) 1st and 2nd movement with cadenza 1st movement with cadenza of one of the following Violin Concertos : Beethoven, Brahms, Sibelius, Nielsen or Tchaikovsky
Orchesterstellen	Excerpts will be published latest in December. Chamber music: Haydn: String quartet op. 76, no. 4: 1st movement. --- The audition will also include a short interview.
