2nd concertmaster (deputy concertmaster)
Contract duration: immediately
We are looking for a musician who is characterised by an excellent command of his/her instrument, a high level of commitment and reliability.
He/she should have leadership qualities and at the same time the ability to integrate.
The future concertmaster should be actively involved in the orchestra's chamber music cycle, both programmatically and as a participant.
We are also looking for an interest in playing on original instruments.

We give the orchestra's outstanding musicians the opportunity to perform as soloists and promote the further development of each individual within the scope of our possibilities.
As an opera orchestra, the Aachen Symphony Orchestra performs around 70 performances per season at the Aachen Theatre.
In addition, the orchestra is the most important and largest provider of classical music in the Aachen region due to its lively concert activity with a wide variety of concert series ranging from chamber music to large symphonic works.
Remuneration is according to TVK B.
Travelling and accommodation expenses cannot be covered.
