Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be able to participate in the procedure:
Be a native of the Canary Islands or a resident of the Canary Islands
Be born between 1st January 1996 and 1st December 2006.
Be a student of musical education or have completed their studies within the last four years.
Not be a member of any professional symphonic ensemble.
Not have previously belonged to the Youth Orchestra of the Canary Islands.
Applicants must provide the following information:
Completed application form, which will be sent automatically when completing the web form.
Photocopy of identification document (DNI, NIE) on both sides.
Certificate of residence in a Canary Island municipality, for residents of the Canary Islands.
Birth certificate, for Canary Islanders who no longer reside in the Canary Islands.
Academic and artistic curriculum vitae, indicating the musical studies that have been taken or are being taken.
A video recording, playing solo or with accompaniment a movement from a concerto (without cadenza) from the specific repertoire of their instrument and at least three orchestral fragments to be chosen from Annex I attached to this call for applications.
Regarding the video: the applicant must add in the application form a link to the recording which must be hosted on YouTube, as a public or private video, and each work performed must be uncut and with a fixed camera. The same link must contain both the compulsory work and the added excerpts. In the case of the compulsory work, it may be recorded with or without piano accompaniment, at free choice.
All documentation, with the exception of the recording, must be submitted in PDF format and in Spanish.
