I have started my adventure with violin-making in the Antoni Kenar State School for Fine Arts in Zakopane, from which I graduated in 1995 defending my diploma work. At the same time, I was a student of the accordion and violin class of the Secondary Music School in Nowy Targ. Next, in the year 2000 I have graduated Ignacy Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where at the Faculty of Instruments, Artistic Violin-Making Department I studied under supervision of Professor Honorata Stalimerska. During the course of my studies, I participated in all-Poland and international violin-making competitions; and in the year 1998 I have been awarded a honorary mention at the 9th Piotr Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow. I have entered the competition with a Guarneri-model violin made by me in the course of my third year of studies at the Academy. In the period 1999–2003 I developed my bow-making skills at Maison Bernard in Brussels, one of Europe’s oldest and most reputed workshops of traditional French bow making, under direction of Pierre Guillaume. In February 2001 I was offered an opportunity to participate in the International Exhibition of Handicraft String Instruments and Bows at Palao de Música in Valencia, Spain. Still improving my professional skills in Brussels, in 2001 I have launched my Artistic Violin-Making and Bow-Making Workshop in Cracow. In 2004 I participated in the 3rd W. Kamieński All-Poland’s Violin-Making Competition where I had been awarded 3rd prize. Since 2004, I am a member of the Association of Polish Violin Makers.

Mon aventure avec la lutherie a été commencée au Lycée d’Arts Plastiques Antony Kenar de Zakopane, où, en 1995 j’ai réussi avec succès mon diplôme. Parallèlement, je faisais mes études à l’École de Musique IIe degré à Nowy Sącz dans la classe d’accordéon et de violon. C’est en 2000 que j’ai obtenu mon certificat de fin d’études à l’Académie de Musique Ignacy Paderewski de Poznań, section instrumentale à l’Atelier de lutherie artistique dirigé par prof. Honorata Stalmierska. Durant les études, j’ai participé, à maintes reprises, aux concours de lutherie nationaux et étrangers, en 1998 j’ai été primé d’une mention honorable au XIe Concours international Tchaïkovsky à Moscou. Pour ce concours-là, j’ai présenté le violon modèle Guarneri, fabriqué dans le cadre des études en troisième année universitaire. Les années de 1999 à 2003, je les ai passées en me formant en archèterie auprès de la Maison Bernard à Bruxelles, l’atelier d’archèterie française l’un des plus anciens ateliers d’Europe, sous la direction de Pierre Guillaume. En février 2001, j’ai eu l’occasion de participer à l’Exposition internationale de la collection d’instruments et d’archets de lutherie à Valence en Espagne. L’exposition a eu lieu au Palais de la Musique. En même temps, en Pologne, à partir de l’an 2001, mon Atelier de lutherie et d’archèterie d’art a commencé son activité à Cracovie. En 2004, j’ai participé au IIIe Concours National de Lutherie W.Kamieński dont je suis lauréat du IIIe Prix. En 2004, j’ai adhéré à l’Association des Luthiers Artistes de Pologne.

Przygodę z lutnictwem rozpocząłem w Państwowym Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych im. Antoniego Kenara w Zakopanem, gdzie w 1995 roku obroniłem pracę dyplomową. Równocześnie kształciłem się w Szkole Muzycznej II stopnia w Nowym Targu w klasie akordeonu i skrzypiec. Następnie, w roku 2000 ukończyłem Akademię Muzyczną im. Ignacego Paderewskiego w Poznaniu, wydział Instrumentalny w Zakładzie Lutnictwa Artystycznego pod kierunkiem prof. Honoraty Stalimierskiej. Podczas studiów brałem udział w ogólnopolskich i międzynarodowych konkursach lutniczych, a w roku 1998 otrzymałem wyróżnienie w XI Międzynarodowym Konkursie im. P. I Czajkowskiego w Moskwie. Do konkursu zgłosiłem wówczas skrzypce, model Guarnerri, wykonane w ramach nauki na trzecim roku studiów. Od 1999 roku do 2003 kształciłem się w dziedzinie smyczkarstwa w Maison Bernard (pol. Dom Bernarda) w Brukseli, jednej z najstarszych w Europie pracowni smyczkarstwa francuskiego, pod kierunkiem Pierra Guillaume’a. W lutym 2001 roku umożliwiono mi również uczestnictwo w Międzynarodowej Wystawie Kolekcji Instrumentów i Smyczków Lutniczych w Walencji w Hiszpani. Wystawa miała miejsce w Pallao de la Musica. Równocześnie w Polsce, od 2001 roku, rozpoczęła działalność moja Pracownia Lutnictwa i Smyczkarstwa Artystycznego w Krakowie. W 2004 roku brałem udział w III Ogólnopolskim Konkursie Lutniczym im. W. Kamieńskiego, gdzie zająłem III miejsce. Od 2004 roku zostałem członkiem Związku Polskich Artystów Lutników.
