For this position, we are looking for an outstanding musician who is able to take on the role of solo cello (m/f/d) in one of the most traditional and renowned opera and ballet orchestras in Germany. In addition to artistic qualifications, including experience with contemporary music and historically informed performance practice, we expect the willingness to take on responsibility for the cello section. This includes in particular the organisation of group meetings and regular staff appraisals in consultation with the other solo cello (m/f/d) and the orchestra management. We expect a high level of identification with our orchestra and the Württemberg State Theatres Stuttgart. This also includes a presence beyond the contractually agreed orchestral duties. We offer a special contract with a reduced workload, taking into account your professional experience and qualifications. A high-quality service instrument can be provided.
