The 2018 Orchestra Noir Solo Virtuoso Competitions
The 2018 Haydn, Mozart & Beethoven Solo Virtuoso Competition is open to all ethnicities, and nationalities from all countries. There is no age limit. This competition is open to the following instrumentalists: voice, piano, strings, winds, brass, and harp. Participants are required to submit video links for the audition. After preliminary video screening, 10 participants will be chosen as finalists and invited to audition live on June 7, 2018.

Kaleidoscope Instrumental and Vocal Competition
We are very happy to announce a new international competition open to instrumentalists and vocalists with $15,000 in prizes plus solo appearances with orchestra in 2018–2019.
Our application deadline is April 1.
Roundtrip air travel to Los Angeles and housing with be covered for finalists. Our competition is open to performers of any age, residing in any country. Our final round will be held on June 9.

PRISMA Festival Concerto Competition

Ysaye International Music Competition
On the 16th of July 2018, we will be celebrating the 160th birthday of the Belgian violinist and composer Eugene Ysaye.
In memory of Eugene Ysaye, the organizers wish to create a high level competition for young musicians. Their goal is to develop culture in Liege and give a chance for musicians from all around the world to show their talent.
The competition is devided into two parts: Violin (3 categories) and Chamber Music (2 categories).
Three prizes will be awarded per category. Cash prizes, instrumental material and vouchers will be distributed to the winners. The prizes will be awarded by the jury members and sponsors to the winners of the competition on the 21st July 2018 at the end of the gala concert.
Participants are also invited to apply for the "3rd International Music Camp" which will take place in Liège from the 21st to the 27th of July.

This competition's aim is to promote and support talented young musicians (age limit: 35).

The next auditions for the Pierre Fournier Award will be held at the Wigmore Hall in London on 3 & 4 July 2018. Applicants are required to arrive in London on 2 July. The winner receives a Wigmore Hall recital & concerto opportunity with the Philhamonia Orchestra.

Applicants must submit 5 live & unedited video recordings of the following:
Prelude and One other movement from a Bach Suite.
First Movement from a Beethoven Sonata.
First movement from a Romantic Sonata.
A work or movement of a composition written since 1960.
A movement from a standard cello concerto.
Applicants must also submit full recital programme (approx. 75 – 90 minutes) that the applicant will be prepared to play at the audition.

Concours ouvert à des groupes constitués de jeunes artistes dont la moyenne d'âge ses situe entre 18 et 30 ans, organisés en ensemble à vocation professionnelle et composés de 2 à 15 musiciens, sans chef. Le groupe doit être issu de la communauté européenne ou avoir étudié en Europe. 2018 Washington International Competition for Strings
The Washington International Competition (WIC) was established in 1950 to support outstanding young classical musicians in their pursuit of professional careers. The WIC occurs in a three-year rotation for piano, strings and voice.
The 2018 Competition for Strings semifinals will take place at George Washington University on both Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23. Finals will take place on Sunday, June 24 at the Kennedy Center.
