The Erzgebirgische Philharmonie Aue has been an integral part of the cultural landscape of the Erzgebirge for over one hundred years. The orchestra's spectrum ranges from serenade, opera, operetta and choral concerts to chamber music and school concerts, as well as a multifaceted co-operation with music academies. In addition to its extensive concert activities, the orchestra fulfils its obligations as a theatre orchestra for all musical theatre performances at the Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theater.
