The Orchestra Academy of the Staatskapelle Halle offers young musicians a wide range of training programmes as part of a scholarship to prepare them for a successful career start. Various concert formats of the Staatskapelle Halle as well as the integration into the extensive repertoire of the music theatre and ballet section of the Halle Opera enable you to gain artistic and personal experience as an orchestra musician. (approx. 12 services per month)
The Händelfestspielorchester, an ensemble of the Staatskapelle Halle that plays on historical instruments, offers the opportunity to participate in selected projects and thus expand existing knowledge of historical performance practice.
Participation in the annual academy concerts together with musicians from the Staatskapelle Halle, a separate chamber music format, regular coaching by mentors from the Staatskapelle and compulsory participation in the monthly training auditions are an integral part of the training at the Orchestra Academy.
The programme is primarily aimed at musicians who have already completed their studies (Bachelor's degree) or students who are nearing the end of their studies or have comparable qualifications.
A monthly stipend of €720 will be paid to support living expenses.

A valid residence permit is required.
