informations	The BADISCHE STAATSKAPELLE has an opening for Principal Double Bass - Permanent starting January 1, 2027. Applicants, regardless of gender, have equal opportunities at the BADISCHES STAATSTHEATER. Severely disabled applicants will be given preferential consideration if equally qualified. The audition should be played in solo tuning. If you wish to play in orchestral tuning, please inform us when you apply. Please note that unfortunately, travel and/or accommodation costs incurred during the audition cannot be reimbursed. An exception is made only if you have a contract with a TVK orchestra at the time of the audition. Participation in the audition obliges the candidate to accept the position if selected.
