The Aleksey Gorkhov International Violin Competition is an awaited and celebrated classical music event both locally and internationally. The competition was established in Kiev, 2021, in honour of the great Ukranian violinist Aleksey Gorokhov. The competition is designed to reveal young musical talents. For obvious reasons the 4th edition of the competition will be held in Portugal as the previous one in 2023.
The competition is held in Violin category. The application submission and 1st round (Video recording) deadline is April 21st, 2024. Age limit up to 30 years old The competition will held four categories: A- 18 to 30 B- 14 to 17 C- 10 to 13 D- Up to 10 Among money prices there is the ALEKSEY GOROKHOV GRAND PRIZE - Master Violin
Applications for participation as rules and program will be open at www.newvibrations.pt during the month of February due to the website updating.
