I can still remember my first contact with violin-making. I was seven years old and I had entered a workshop to rent my first violin.

I was fascinated by the atmosphere and from then on I was determined to become a violin-maker. I entered the Mirecourt School
of violin-making in France at the age of fourteen and studied the making and restoration of violins for five years.
While I was studying I also acquired a number of valuable work experiences. After I obtained my diploma I worked for several years
as an assistant, most notably in the workshop of F. Becker in Montpellier. My interest in bows developed further during this time,
and I decided to train as a bow-maker under the direction of Mr. Becker. Wanting to take direction of my own future I opened
my workshop in Zaragoza, where I mainly devote myself to the making of new violins, violas and cellos. I am eager to exchange views
and expertise with other violin makers, and I am a member of Aladfi, a French violin-making association. -

violon, je fus fascinée par ce métier et dès lors déterminée à devenir luthier.
J’intègre à quatorze ans l’école nationale de lutherie de Mirecourt, où je suivis un cursus de 5 années d’enseignement, que j’enrichis
par de nombreux stages (C. Girardot à Dijon, T. Schiegnitz à Berlin, N. Saumagne à la Roche sur Foron, Ch.L. Hommel à Marseille…).
Je travaille ensuite plusieurs années comme assistante, essentiellement pour F. Becker à Montpellier pendant 4 ans. C’est dans cet
atelier que naît mon intérêt pour les archets, et je me forme alors à l’archèterie.
Désireuse de suivre ma voie personnelle, j’ouvre mon propre atelier à Saragosse, où je me consacre essentiellement à la fabrication.
Afin de maintenir un échange d’idées et de savoir-faire avec d’autres luthiers, je suis membre de l’ALADFI, association de luthiers et d’archetiers pour le développement de la facture instrumentale. -
De pequeña, cuando entré por primera vez en un taller de luthería, tuve un flechazo por este oficio que junta mi interés por el violín y el trabajo manual. Desde entonces no se me ha ido esta pasión.

Empecé mi aprendizaje a los catorce años en la Escuela Nacional de Luthería de Mirecourt, donde hice una carrera de cinco años, ampliada por muchas prácticas en varios talleres en Europa.
Entonces trabajé para varios luthieres, principalmente para el señor Frédéric BECKER en Montpellier durante 4 años.
Ahí nació mi interés por el trabajo del arquero, y aprendí también a fabricar arcos.
Esta extensa trayectoria me permite desarrollar mi propia concepción del funcionamiento y de la estética de los instrumentos y arcos del cuarteto.
Soy socia de ALADFI, una asociación francesa de luthieres que comparten sus experiencias y obran en favor de la promoción de la luthería y arquería moderna.
